Tips for Wearing Fashion Jewellery for Outdoor Events

Outdoor events often are a challenge because we do want to dress up but have no clue as to how and what would be the perfect combination that wouldn’t leave us feeling uncomfortable. Dressing up would mean a combination of both dresses and jewellery and the right combination can either make or break a look. No one wears costly metals like gold or silver to outdoor events and artificial necklace or artificial bangles are the right choice for such events. Here are some tips on the type of dressing one can do for outdoor events.

For picnics:

Picnic is for running around, to play around, to travel. For this it is ideal to wear something that is easy and light weight. If one is used to wearing sarees then it is perfectly okay to wear sarees. Light weight sarees like chiffon, rayon and pure silk are good choices. One thing that needs to be remembered is that outdoor picnics are often messy. Hence it is wise to not wear very expensive dresses. If one is not comfortable with sarees then salwar kameez or kurtis is the right choice. As to jewellery, light weight, easy-to-wear jewellery may be worn for the occasion. Now one can buy fashion jewellery online and collecting a set is not difficult. The best things to wear is a chain with a pendant for the neck. As to the ear, light-weight drop down earrings look good on younger people. Oder ones may opt for tops for ears. A simple wrist watch for the hand would look good. Else, a pair of simple bangles are good enough.

For Travels:

Travels would ofcourse involve a lot of hectic activities and it is very important to stress on the comfort factor. Light-weight kurtis are good for all ages. If western-wear is the choice then a pair of jeans and tops or T-Shirt can be ideal choices. As to jewellery, travel jewellery must be very light. If wearing a kurti, a small chain with or without a pendant can be chosen. This can be paired with a set of tops. A pair of bangles or a single bangle with a watch can be worn for the hands. If one is opting for a western wear, it is best to leave out the neckpiece. Instead trendy drop-down earrings or simple tops for ears may be chosen. Alongside a chunky statement ring for the fingers may be worn to give it a different kind of look. The hands should best be left empty.

For Outdoor Functions:

If there is an outdoor function like birthday parties or engagement functions, dressing can be done as per the choice of the occasion. However it needs to be kept in mind that unless it is an air conditioned venue, outdoors can often be hot and humid during summer months and cooler during winter. So dress should be chosen accordingly. Jewellery must be worn as per the dress worn. However it is good to opt for co-ordinated pair of necklace sets and matching bangles. Or a gorgeous necklace couple with a pair of jhumkis would also look good.
